Sven Bender sidelined
Bayer 04 what have to manage without Sven Bender. The central defender picked up a knee injury in the Werkself training session on Tuesday 8 December.
Following a medical on Wednesday, the 31-year-old will be unavailable for the next two games against Slavia Prague in the Europa League on Thursday 10 December (kick-off: 18.55 CET) and against TSG Hoffenheim in the Bundesliga on Sunday 13 December (18.00 CET).
