Special shirt sold out
All gone. After just a few days, the adult sizes were sold out and now the last children's shirts have been sold. The special shirt for the club anniversary of '40 years Bundesliga' is now sold out.
The limited edition shirt has been developed in cooperation with our partners JAKO. The design is based on the kit for the 1978/79 season when Bayer 04 gained promotion to the Bundesliga. Both the main sponsor Barmenia Versicherungen and sleeve partner Kieser Training have agreed not have the branding on the shirt to reflect the traditional look. The special shirt is limited to 4,000 with each one numbered.
Anyone who does want to wear the 'Cross on the chest' at the weekend can grab their chance at the fan shop at the BayArena on the last home matchday of the season on Saturday or on 'Tradition day' on Sunday. On the two days, there are remainders of the white goalkeeper shirt for sale that the Werkself keeper will wear against FC Schalke 04.

The Bayer 04 Women's team are in the Round of 16 of the DFB Pokal. The team led by coach Roberto Pätzold beat Regional League Karlsruher SC 2-0 on Sunday afternoon. A strike by Kristin Kögel (24') and an own goal from Neele Beck (72') secured a well-deserved victory for the visitors.
