Mitchell Weiser nominated for 'Goal of the Month'

Mitchell Weiser's brilliant equaliser in the Europa League game against Ludogorets not only secured a point for the Werkself late on but it has also brought the 24-year-old a nomination for Goal of the Month on the ARD Sportschau for the month of November.

Voting for the Werkself number 23 started on Thursday on the Sportschau website and it is open until midnight on 18 December 2018.

In addition to Weiser's excellent volley from a tight angle, the other nominations for November are Louis Schaub (FC Köln), Julian Günther-Schmidt (Carl Zeiss Jena), Julius Reinhardt (FSV Zwickau) and Baris Atik (Dynamo Dresden).
