Marlon Frey joins Kaiserslautern on loan
Bayer 04 loan out midfielder Marlon Frey to second division FC Kaiserslautern.
The talented 20-year-old, under contract at Leverkusen to 30 June 2018, will now have the chance to gain competitive experience at the ambitious club from the Rhineland Palatinate.
At the same time, Bayer 04 have given 18-year-old defender Joel Abu Hanna a contract to 30 June 2019. The Germany youth international first trained with the senior squad at the winter training camp in Orlando where he succeeded in making an impression.

For many young people, football is an important part of their lives, it inspires and offers a sense of identification. Players are role models and the clubs embody social commitment.
