Injury rules Kai Havertz out of internationals
Kai Havertz is not available for Germany for the forthcoming internationals against Belarus on Saturday 6 November and against Northern Ireland on Tuesday 19 November.
The 20-year-old suffered a torn thigh muscle in his left leg in the closing stages of the first half in the 2-0 win for Bayer 04 Leverkusen at VfL Wolfsburg in the Bundesliga on Sunday. That was the outcome of an MRI scan today (Monday).
Havertz has informed the Germany coach Joachim Löw that he is unavailable for Germany's two Euro qualifiers in Mönchengladbach and in Frankfurt.
