Bayer 04 Leverkusen constantly work with the club’s events and security management teams plus police and local authorities on the organisation and performance of matches in and around the BayArena not least because of the sad and tragic events in Paris in 2015. The aim of these measures is always to guarantee all visitors and staff an incredibly high standard of security at our stadium.

The attack on the Borussia Dortmund team bus ahead of the Champions League game against AS Monaco has also drawn attention to the security issue. We continually endeavour to improve our security procedures and always be in a position to take appropriate measures as required. We are in constant contact with the police and other security agencies. Bayer 04 aims now and in the future to ensure every visitor and member of staff who enters the BayArena feels safe and secure.
