Charles Aránguiz returns to Leverkusen

Aránguiz will undergo a check-up on his return to Leverkusen to determine his fitness level.

In addition, the recently injured Kevin Kampl, Ömer Toprak and Julian Brandt returned to individual training on Monday after recovery from injury/illness. Joel Pohjanpalo was back in full training for the first time since his injury.

The final international break of the year is followed by a flurry of fixtures for the Werkself starting with Friday night’s (20.30 CET) game against RB Leipzig at the BayArena. Bayer 04 then travel to Moscow to play CSKA on Tuesday (18.00 CET) and Saturday’s top match (18.30 CET) is an away game at FC Bayern.
