Bayer 04 mourn for Emilio Ballack

Emilio Ballack, son of the former Bayer 04 player Michael Ballack, was killed in an accident in Portugal in the night from Wednesday to Thursday. Bayer 04 mourn with the family.

"The news came as a shock and it's hit me very hard. We mourn for the lad and our thoughts are with Michael and Simone," said Rudi Völler. "Everyone here at Bayer 04 wishes the whole Ballack family incredible strength."

Michael Ballack played for Bayer 04 Leverkusen from 1999 to 2002 and from 2010 to 2012.
