As soon as the final decisions by the state government are available, Bayer 04 will inform the holders of matchday tickets via email on a possible refund for already purchased tickets. The money paid for tickets, which are not used, will definitely be refunded.
Holders of season tickets will also be informed via email of the next steps. If the number of tickets available is below the number of season ticket holders then the tickets will be allocated by ballot as at the beginning of the season.

Referring to the meeting in the league phase and the initially squandered opportunities, coach Kasper Hjulmand said afterwards: "I thought: 'Oh no, déjà-vu.'"
