The Bayer 04 Football School presented by Barmenia offers holiday camps during school holidays where kids not only have the chance of training on the pitches at the Werkself but can also experience the full programme of the world of Bayer 04. With the stadium tour through the BayArena, lunch and the now traditional visit from a Werkself player, it is certain nobody will be bored.
The goalkeeper camps led by qualified goalkeeping coaches who bring the one-on-one into focus with the goal keeper game and then to put what's learned into effect in numerous match and training drills together with the outfield players
Children and young people aged between six and 14 (depending on description) have the opportunity to be part of the Werkself for one day. Selected players will be at the training session. The two 90 to 120-minute training sessions take place in the shadow the BayArena.
The camps on the road are a special offer from the Football School. All supporters of the Blacks and Reds for whom the daily journey to Leverkusen is too far have the opportunity to take part in the camps – for example in Austria – in a similar way to the Werkself at their training camp.
Train like Wirtz & Co.: If you are aged between six and 14 and want to take part you don't have to belong to a football club.

What an early Easter present: a very special highlight awaited the young footballers of the Bayer 04 Football School at the BayArena as part of the Easter camp on Wednesday 27 March, as Werkself first-teamer Borja Iglesias visited the traditional kids press conference. The striker answered numerous interesting questions and revealed, among other things, what his favourite dish is and who used to be his idol.

On Tuesday 11 April, 90 children from the soccer school entered the media centre at the BayArena full of anticipation and they brought a number of questions for the 29 year-old midfielder with them. The answers attracted huge curiosity.
