Jonas Rath – Fitness coach

Jonas Rath started his work as fitness coach for the Bayer 04 first team in the summer of 2023. Before that he worked for three years as the fitness coach with the first team at Borussia Mönchengladbach. Rath took over the position from Schahriar Bigdeli who had worked at Bayer 04 since 2006.

In his time before Borussia, Rath worked with the Germany U17 team as well as the handball Bundesliga club HSG Wetzlar. He studied at the Justus Liebig University in Gießen .
