After two years at VfL Bochum, Christoph Kramer (22) is going out on loan to Borussia Mönchengladbach.
Christoph is another talented Werkself player who has progressed very well away from Leverkusen. The former Bayer 04 U19 skipper has been in the spotlight at second division VfL Bochum where he has spent the last two seasons on loan.
The defensive midfielder is now moving up to the next level: The 22-year-old will be playing for Borussia Mönchengladbach for the next two years. Kramer, who has a contract at Bayer 04 to 2017, even attracted interest from foreign clubs including Benfica. Christoph quickly established himself as a regular starter at Bochum and he went on to make 61 appearances in the second division, scoring four goals along the way.
